Curved Work

Woodwork that is curved can be done in more than one way. The curved pieces can be cut out of a larger block
of solid wood, they can be steam bent, or they can be laminated from thin strips. Many projects use more than
one method. The stretchers and aprons on this cherry table were made of thin laminations glued together.

The construction of the VANITY on the next PAGE was done using both lamination and shaping of solid wood.
